Smithers Apex is pleased to announce its third annual edition of Quantum Dots Forum 2016, taking place on March 9-11 at the Island Hotel.
The two-day event will cover market opportunities, developments in technologies, end user opportunities and challenges, innovations in applications and environmental issues related to Quantum Dots.
“The Quantum Dots Forum provides the ideal venue to bring together QD technology experts, suppliers, producers and end-used to provide critical updates for the rapidly developing industry. The display industry faces a critical crossroad where high quality yet relatively inexpensive QD technology and market conditions are aligning,” said DeAna Morgan, Conference Producer at Smithers Apex. “The Quantum Dots Forum is the premier industry gathering that will provide insight, analysis, and opportunity research to those with even a passing interest in quantum dot technology,” added Morgan.
The Quantum Dots 2016 advisory board brings together the expertise of Seth Coe-Sullivan, Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer, QD VISION INC.; and Jonathan Steckel, Lead Technologist, Apple Inc. Session topics for this year’s conference program include market overview and industry drivers; how current producers are handling industry stressors and opportunities; supply chain dynamics and materials development. Additionally the conference will explore the voice of the QD customer; new and emerging applications; and impact on environmental health & safety.
The conference program will double in scope from last year to include more viewpoints from the supply side and end-users of quantum dots, as well as flash talks and panel discussions. Quantum Dots Forum will immediately follow Smithers Apex’s 2016 Phosphor Global Summit, taking place March 7-9 at the same location. The co-location will enable the two events to share sponsorship and exhibition opportunities as well as applicable crossover audience.
