Nanotechnology Enabled Coatings To Be Used For Power Plant Protection

Industrial Nanotech, Inc, an emerging global leader in nanotechnology, announced that a major US Power Company plans to use Industrial Nanotech’s Nansulate nanotechnology based coating to provide both corrosion protection and thermal insulation of its infrastructure. The total value of the project has not yet been determined and the project is expected to be ongoing.

Nansulate provides them with a cost effective solution that helps them deliver energy more efficiently with less thermal loss as it travels from power plant to the consumer, reduces the risk of injury from accidental contact with pipes and equipment by lowering the surface temperature to a safe level, and increases the lifespan of the infrastructure by protecting it against corrosion. We have been actively pursuing the workplace safety sector of the industrial marketplace and consider this a milestone as we add this significant source of revenue to our diverse portfolio of markets served.”
