Tescan, one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of scanning electron microscopes, have appointed the ISS Group as their distributor for the UK and Ireland. Founded in Brno in the Czech Republic in 1991, Tescan have supplied more than 400 systems worldwide.

Tescan offer two families of microscope. The VEGA series is a family of high-quality, fully PC-controlled scanning electron microscopes designed for high vacuum or variable pressure operations. There are eight models provided with various chambers according to the users´ requirements. Variables include the choice of chamber size, stage movement precision and operation platform.
For high resolution applications, there is the MIRA family of Schottky Field Emission high performance microscopes. Four models offer the user choice of chamber size and vacuum specification.
