Nanofair 2009 Brings Together Science and Industry in Dresden

Nanofair 2009 brings together science and industry in Dresden on May 26th and 27th.

Nanotechnology is certainly one of the future-looking technology and research fields of the 21st century. The international Nanofair 2009 conference on May 26th and 27th in Dresden (Germany) will for the seventh time be bringing together experts from industry and science for an interdisciplinary exchange of information. Presentation proposals for the conference, which is being held under the slogan 'New Ideas for Industry', can be submitted at www.nanofair.com before October 31st. The subject-matter of presentations should fall within one of the five main topic areas of the conference: electronics, materials and surfaces, life sciences, energy or optics. Contributions are particularly desired from the automobile manufacturing, chemistry, pharmaceutical, electronics, textiles and energy branches of industry. The conference, which is organized by the VDI Wissensforum, is accompanied by a technical exhibition. Due to the conference's international orientation the official language of the conference will be English.

Partners of Nanofair are the VDI Field of Competence Nanotechnology, the Department for the Promotion of Trade and Industry of the City of Dresden, the Nanotechnology Competence Centre 'Ultrathin functional films', Nanomat Karlsruhe, Fraunhofer IWS Dresden and the Karlsruhe Research Centre.
