Silica thin films templated by two triblock copolymers (P123 and F127) from the pluronics family and having the p6m two dimensional symmetry were investigated by X-ray Reflectivity (XR) before and after removing the surfactant from the silica matrix.

Multi-Wall Carbon Nanotubes/Natural Rubber Nanocomposite

A floating catalyst chemical vapor deposition (FC-CVD) method was designed and used to fabricate carbon nanotubes, which were used to produce nanocomposites with rubber. The effects of the nanotube reinforcement on tensile strength, tensile modulus, elongation at break and hardness were studied.
