Nanotechnology-based Pet Products to be Unveiled at Zoomark Show

Dog Gone Smart, a company that uses nanotechnology to develop health care products for pets, is unveiling a range of pet products at the 14th annual Zoomark International pet products show to be held in Bologna, Italy, between May 12 and 15.

The products are certified by PFOA and PFOS as not having carcinogens. They have also been approved by bluesign, strict global environmental, health and safety regulations for textiles. The technology has been incorporated into the material, without changing its texture, delivering a structured surface invisible to the naked eye, and rendering the fabric immune to dust, grease and liquid. The fabric can just be rinsed off or washed in a machine. The technology also is also resistant to animal odor.

The Aspen parka is wind and water resistant, while its fleece is made from artificial fur, protecting the chest and abdomen with a polyfill insulation, and the neck with a zip and dual buckle at the back. The jackets come in sizes of 8, 12 and 26inches in Scarlet, Fern, Marine, and Black colors.

The NanoSuede collars, leashes and harnesses are available in Basic and Fashion styles. The collars measure 4 to 6 ft.,  European leashes80inches, and traffic leashes and harnesses 40inches. The Basic style is available in Royal Blue, Brown, Graphite, Black, Red and Plum colors. The Fashion style is available in Lavender, Dark Lavender, Purple, Light Rose, and Fuchsia colors.

The NanoSuede Rectangle beds are made of soft suede, come in Graphite/Red piping Plum/Graphite piping, and Red/Graphite piping in three standard sizes. The Lounger bed of cotton canvas with a pillow is available in three standard sizes in Navy, Brown, Khaki, Olive and Red colors.

Horse Wear including saddle pads in Tan, Navy, Black, and White and horse sheets in Hunter Green, Navy, and Tan colors will also be unveiled. Dog Gone Smart technology's superior damp management finish blends two technologies in one product. The outside is finished with a stain, grime and liquid repellent, while the inside soaks up perspiration, averting chilliness and overheating.
