The 9th International Nanotech Symposium & Nano Convergence EXPO, Nano Korea 2011, a complete convergence of new technology and nanotechnology, will be held at KINTEX in Goyang-si from 24 to 26 August.
This year’s theme will be Nanotechnology, a bridge to global happiness. The event is expected to provide key opportunities for useful cooperation and exchange of nanotechnology information between industrial and research sectors wherein participants can view and analyze nanotechnology trends and opt for a technology coalition business. The 2011 event will be conducted on a large-scale when compared to the previous year’s show.
In order to enhance exchange of technological information with all other industries and with an idea to improve as an international basement for highlighting new technologies, a special exhibition of “4th International Micro/MEMS Exhibition & Conference”, the “2nd Laser Technology Exhibition”, will be organized as the main exhibition. Moreover, Advanced Ceramics Exhibition will be conducted as a special event. In addition, the Printed Electronics Tech & Industry Expo and the 9th International Nanotech Exhibition will also be organized at the same time.
The 9th International Nanotech Symposium will be held concurrently, comprising 56 presentations by industry specialists across 11 countries. Among them will be Konstantin Novoselov, a professor at the University of Manchester and Kim Dong-Seop, SK Innovation’s President. Leading companies in South Korea such as Kumho Petrochemical, Hyosung, Hanwha, LG, Cheil Industries, and Samsung will demonstrate their technological ability in Nano Korea 2011. Also, research institutes and organizations will share and present their research findings.
