Sidense, a company specializing in one-time programmable memory IP cores, declared that its 1T-OTP macros are fully qualified for GLOBALFOUNDRIES' 65 nm low-power process nodes. In addition, the company has licensed its OTP macros to Toumaz Microsystems, which develops low-power wireless technologies for consumer and healthcare applications, for this process.
A variety of 1T-OTP macros are offered by Sidense to support GLOBALFOUNDRIES' process nodes, which range from 28 to 180 nm. These 1T-OTP macros support IO voltages to 1.8 V. The company’s SiPROM 1T-OTP macros have been licensed to a number of clients, including Toumaz Microsystems at the 65 nm process node. The SiPROM 1T-OTP macros are fully qualified for GLOBALFOUNDRIES' 65 nm G, 130 nm G and low-power processes.
Toumaz Microsystems' CTO, Alison Burdett stated that the company selected Sidense OTP macros to store codes in its Telran transceiver platform. The OTP offers a number of advantages. It consumes less power, has a compact footprint, and can be scaled up to sophisticated process nodes for upcoming future designs. The OTP allows the company to supply products to its customers that extend battery life and fulfill its performance requirements.
Sidense's Vice President of Worldwide Marketing and Sales, Tom Schild commented that the company’s expertise with GLOBALFOUNDRIES enables it to provide safe and dependable OTP across various GLOBALFOUNDRIES' processes. Schild added that the company continues to expand its OTP portfolio and has developed a number of new products that will be qualified for GLOBALFOUNDRIES.
