Ecliptek Unveils Four New Series of LVDS Surface Mount MEMS-Based Oscillators

Ecliptek, a provider of frequency control devices to the electronics industry, has introduced four new series of low voltage differential signaling (LVDS) surface mount MEMS based oscillators.

Ecliptek’s new EMRE series provide higher frequency operation along with better jitter performance. They further improve the company’s present LVDS oscillator products. The new products include 2.5VDC EMRE12 and 3.3VDC EMRE13 series offered in an industry standard six pad 5 x 7 mm SMD packaging, and 2.5VDC EMRE22 and 3.3VDC EMRE23 series offered in an industry standard six pad 3.2 x 5 mm SMD packaging. These new MEMS oscillators are offered with a frequency stability of ±20 ppm and output frequencies of up to 625.000 MHz. Their lead time is measured in days.

The new MEMS clock oscillators are RoHS compliant. They offer design solutions for a variety of clock distribution and system reference applications. They offer a feasible solution all through the design cycle and are available in industrial, commercial and extended commercial operating temperature ranges.

Ecliptek’s Vice President of Engineering, Thomas Culhane stated that the company is happy to introduce new LVDS oscillator solutions to customers. These new EMRE series are intended to surpass the low jitter reference clock prerequisites for superior performance telecom, network, and storage applications.

Ecliptek, established in 1987, offers full engineering support, unprecedented customer service and advanced products to OEM distributors and customers across the world.
