Diablo NanoCommit Solution Wins Innovative Flash Memory Technology Best of Show Award

Diablo Technologies is pleased to announce that its industry-leading NanoCommit™ solution has won Best of Show for Most Innovative Flash Memory Technology at the 2014 Flash Memory Summit in Santa Clara, Calif.

The award was granted by a panel of IT experts in recognition of NanoCommit's ability to persist hundreds of millions of transactions per second, with nanosecond latency. This is the second year in a row that Diablo has been honored for its innovations within the storage industry at the Flash Memory Summit and Exhibition.

"It is an honor to once again be recognized by the Awards Committee for our commitment to innovation and leadership within the field," said Riccardo Badalone, CEO and Co-founder of Diablo Technologies. "NanoCommit is yet another example of Diablo's unique software solutions that will set new standards for real-world application performance. This technology is a key enabler for Converged Memory on MCS, and allows us to bring data persistence to levels of acceleration never before seen by the industry."

NanoCommit unlocks the ground-breaking ability of flash memory to interface at the granularity and speed of memory transactions. For the first time, the capacity and performance advantages of flash can be harnessed for both storage and memory use cases. Intended to be available on Carbon2 and subsequent platforms, NanoCommit enables dramatic acceleration and scalability for business-critical, enterprise applications.

"The judges of the Flash Memory Summit Awards Committee had the daunting task of selecting the most innovative technology from such a large pool of quality submissions," said Jay Kramer, Chairman of the Awards Program and President of Network Storage Advisors Inc. "We are proud to select Diablo Technologies' NanoCommit for the Best of Show Innovation Award as it delivers new levels of performance by enabling applications to persist data at the granularity of a CPU cache line and beyond, in nanosecond timescales."
