For the first time, PicoQuant's annual course offers practical sessions by all five major microscopy companies.
The short course on “Time-Resolved Microscopy and Correlation Spectroscopy”, organized by PicoQuant, will be held at the science and technology park WISTA in Berlin-Adlershof, Germany from February 24 to 26, 2015.
The three day event includes lectures by renowned scientists as well as practical sessions on instruments provided by the market-leading companies Leica, Nikon, Olympus, Zeiss, and PicoQuant.
The scope of the course is to provide an in-depth introduction to principles and applications of time-resolved fluorescence microscopy from a theoretical and experimental point of view.
Registration is possible until January 15, 2015.
Topics covered:
- Instrumentation and data analysis
- Correlation methods: FCS, FCCS, FLCS, and more
- Imaging methods: FLIM, FRET, FLIM-FRET, and more
- STED super-resolution microscopy
- Single molecule microscopy
Lectures are given by Ingo Gregor and Fred Wouters from the University of Göttingen, Mark Hink from the University of Amsterdam, Chris Dunsby from the Imperial College London, Johan Hofkens from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, and Rainer Erdmann, Managing Director of PicoQuant.
