NanoImpact welcomes article submissions in the following four main areas of research: human nanotoxicology, econanotoxicology, exposure, and risk- and lifecycle assessment. Other topics of research such as the development of methodological and modelling approaches and the development of materials and methods to enhance nanosafety, will also be considered if there is a clear link to four main areas. .

The journal will be under the editorship of: Associate Professor Philip Demokritou, Harvard University, USA; Professor Guibin Jiang, State Key Laboratory of Environmental Chemistry and Ecotoxicology, Chinese Academy of Sciences China (CAS); Professor Jamie R. Lead, University of South Carolina, USA and Professor Bernd Nowack, Swiss Federal Laboratories for Materials Science and Technology (Empa), Switzerland.
