The Nano Science & Technology Institute (NSTI) has announced Dr. Altaf Carim will deliver a keynote address during Nanotech 2007, the nation's largest Nanotech Conference and Trade Show. Nanotech 2007 will be held May 20-24, 2007, in Santa Clara, Calif.
Dr. Carim is the Co-Chair, National Science and Technology Council, Committee on Technology Subcommittee on Nanoscale Science, Engineering and Technology (NSET) Scientific User Facilities Division, Office of Basic Energy Sciences, Office of Science, U.S. Department of Energy.
"Dr. Carim's is an expert in microstructural and microchemical characterization of materials," noted Bart Romanowicz, Executive Director of the Nano Science & Technology Institute, producers of Nanotech 2007. "He has authored or coauthored over 85 research publications in these areas, including two book chapters and has edited two volumes. We're very excited to have Dr. Carim speak in what will be a 'must attend' session for anyone interested in federal nanotechnology funding."
