Nanocyl, the Belgium-based leader in the production of carbon nanotubes, has the pleasure to announce that Koichi Sakakibara will coordinate its activities in Japan.
Nanocyl has been present on the Japanese market for several years and different Nanocyl products already had success. Today, to cope with the increasing activities and growing demands from its local customers, Nanocyl has entered collaboration with Koichi Sakakibara who will coordinate Nanocyl activities in Japan.
Sakakibara joined Nanocyl recently, after years of relevant experience. Working for Sanyo Chemical Industries, Koichi established a successful career within the Product and Business Development Department, to eventually become the President of SanApro LTD from 1990 to 1996, a joint venture between Sanyo Chemicals and Air Products. Then he became Director of Taisei Chemical Co. and he directed nano-dispersing technology developments. Before collaboration with Nanocyl, Koichi Sakakibara was Advisor to several new business development projects of various companies, including carbon nanotube applications.
Thanks to his extensive experience and know-how, Koichi Sakakibara has the right background for Nanocyl’s new long-term business development. In addition to that he has a broad human network, covering many industries in Japan.
“Without any doubt, we are convinced that Koichi, with his experience and expertise, will give us an enormous added value for the further expansion of Nanocyl worldwide. Thanks to his enrolment we will be able to offer an even better service to our customers in Asia and especially in Japan,” said an enthusiast Jean-Charles Reynders, Commercial Director of Nanocyl.
