After two successful years in debut at the Dallas Convention Center, nanoTX’08 has bowed to popular demand and moved its location to the Hyatt Regency Dallas hotel, 300 Reunion Boulevard, downtown.
“We’ll be able to accommodate a few less exhibitors this year than we did at the Convention Center,” said Colonel Mason, Director of Publicity, “but the conference facilities are outstanding, with networking opportunities everywhere.”
Although somewhat smaller in area, the Business Hall exhibits will continue to be the exciting draw for most people, expanding on the theme The Promise of Tomorrow - The Business of Nanotechnology. Of those attending the exhibits in 2007, 48% were Nanotech Business Professionals; 39% Analysts, Engineers, Technicians, R&D; and 13% Educators. Complete 2007 demographics and footage from the Business Hall exhibits can be viewed at the web site, www.nanotx.biz
“Unlike at the sprawling Convention Center, the Hyatt Regency Dallas convention hotel has the conference rooms and Business Hall exhibits located in very close proximity, making for a more intimate setting and compounding the networking opportunities exponentially,” said Mason, “and the private hotel quarters are only some quick steps from all the action.” Conference speakers and schedules will be continuously updated at the web site throughout the months leading up to the event.
“It is difficult to describe in words the outstanding accommodations of the Hyatt Regency, with convenient cafés and numerous comfortable private networking areas close by.”

Again this year, major sponsors include the outstanding world-wide organization of the Micro and Nanotechnology Commercialization Education Foundation (MANCEF), and others. Sponsors can be seen at the web site as current ones return and new ones are welcomed.
