Franklin Council To Give Tax Breaks To Nanotechnology Company - News Item

The Franklin Town Council has approved a tax cut that will save Eikos Inc. around $16600 in taxes over six years.

The changes will mean the nanotechnology company will be able to expand its existing facilities without being taxed on the new development. They then intend to hire 20 new full-time staff to add to its existing 14 employees. The Eikos developments will include $500,000 in leasehold improvements and $1 million in new equipment.

Eikos develops and manufacturers carbon nanotube based ink products.
