Questex Media Group is pleased to announce the co-location of the 2010 Sensors Expo + Conference -- the leading sensor event in North America exclusively focused on sensors and sensor-integrated systems -- and the Embedded Systems Conference Chicago (ESC Chicago) -- the premier embedded event in America for executives, engineers and journalists. The two events will be held June 8-9, 2010 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL, with Sensors Pre-conference Symposia on Monday, June 7, 2010.
Sensors Expo is dedicated to exploring the most up-to-date innovations in sensor technology including physical sensors, sensor networks, biosensors, Energy Harvesting, MEMS/Nanotechnology, instrumentation & controls, intelligent systems, machine-to-machine communication, wireless sensing and IT technology. Sensors Expo & Conference identifies cutting-edge trends, explores them in an information-packed conference program, and reflects those trends throughout the exhibit floor with new product announcements, technology focused tours, and a showcase of hundreds of products and services.
"The co-location of Sensors Expo and the Embedded Systems Conference is driven by the needs of the design engineering audience that attend the two shows," said Beth Torrey, Director, Sensors Expo & Conference. "Sensors Expo has long been the leading destination for engineers looking for new sensing-related approaches to their automated measurement and control challenges, and bringing this show together with the Embedded Systems Conference will help those buyers understand how sensing-specific technologies really work in a broader systems design context. By better serving the end-to-end needs of the buyers who attend the two events, the combined shows will appeal to a larger universe of attendees that our sponsors and exhibitors are trying to reach," said Torrey. "We believe that the co-location represents a real win-win for both the design engineers who attend and the vendors who serve them."
Highlights of both events include dynamic keynote presentations, timely conference programs, real-world case studies, Expo floors featuring best-in-class exhibitors, and networking opportunities and events. Additionally, Sensors Expo & Conference offers pre-conference symposia on June 7, 2010. ESC Chicago education will also be available to Sensors Expo & Conference attendees via an add-on registration pass, the details of which will be announced soon.
