New Microelectronics Advertising Campaign for QA Professionals

Microelectronics have changed the lives of people around the globe in countless ways.

Never before has such a wealth of information been so accessible to so many, and the children of today have an even more amazing world waiting for them. But making these "big picture" breakthroughs possible involves examining the smallest details with thorough QA inspections.

That's the theme of Leica Microsystems' newest advertising campaign to QA professionals who work with microelectronics. "We wanted to connect what these dedicated professionals do every day to the larger benefits people receive from their efforts," says Halden Zimmermann, Vice President of Marketing, North America. "We're providing instruments with the visual acuity to enable QA teams to do their jobs more effectively, and that makes a big difference in the big picture of things."

The ad campaign promotes Leica Microsystems' full line of solutions. From compound and stereomicroscopes to the newest Leica DVM5000 digital microscopes with advanced 3D imaging, only Leica Microsystems can deliver a complete solution matched precisely to each customer's application needs and standards -- backed by more than 160 years of experience. The campaign also includes an exclusive offer where the first 50 customers to receive a demonstration of the Leica DVM5000 will receive a free Leica ES2 stereomicroscope.

The campaign will launch in August 2010 on several prominent trade publication and professional society websites with on-line banner advertising and direct mail and email components.
