Liquipel LLC, the industry leader in Watersafe™ technology, and entrepreneur Pharrell Williams, in conjunction with William Morris Endeavor (WME), today announced a partnership to cross-promote each other's brands and lines of business. Details of the partnership were formally announced at 2 p.m., Jan. 9, at Liquipel's booth, No. 25936, South Hall, at the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, Nev.
Grammy award winning singer/songwriter/producer Pharrell Williams has made history for being one of the most successful and prolific artists to emerge during the last decade. As half of the beat-making duo "The Neptunes" with Chad Hugo, and the alternative rock trio "N.E.R.D." with Chad and childhood friend Shae Haley, Pharrell has helped A-list pop stars sell millions of albums and even earned Grammy awards for the likes of Justin Timberlake, Nelly and Usher.
William's unique style and creative aesthetic has been a force in several successful businesses outside the world of music. These include founding the popular clothing brands, Billionaire Boys Club and ICE CREAM, as well as designing limited edition jewelry and accessories for Louis Vuitton. Williams recently published his best-selling book, Pharrell: Places and Spaces I've Been, with Rizzoli in October 2012.
"We are extremely excited to be working with Pharrell. Not only is Pharrell an icon in the entertainment industry, but he is a respected entrepreneur with a keen business sense," said Sam Winkler, Managing Partner of Liquipel. "His range of creativity across fashion, art, music and digital culture bring a perspective, energy and individuality that we value tremendously. We look forward to working with Pharrell across his brands and with Liquipel as the leader in an amazing and dynamic business."
"I look for opportunities that get me excited and where we can do great things together," said Pharrell. "I believe that Liquipel is an amazingly cool technology that seems just like magic. We have only just begun to see how this technology can impact people's lives and become part of their lifestyle. We are going to have a lot of fun!"
