Mad Catz Interactive, Inc. (“Mad Catz”) announced today that its forthcoming range of GameSmart™ headsets will utilize HD-PA components from STMicroelectronics that incorporate exciting Soundcore R3™ technology from Soundchip.

The HD-PA components to be incorporated into GameSmart headsets provide an authentic, High Definition sound experience as well as applying digitally programmable, zero-latency techniques to cancel unwanted background noise, which can often affect game play.
