Micro | Nano | MEMs 2014 is the UK’s must go to showcase for micro, precision, mems and nano manufacturing technologies and will be taking place on the 30th September and 1st October at the NEC in Birmingham.
Free-to-attend the exhibition will feature state-of-the-art live machine demonstrations and will play host to exhibitors covering the full spectrum of micro, precision, mems and nano manufacturing solutions. Visiting professionals will be able to discuss all their requirements with a wide variety of companies. This year confirmed exhibitors already include: Accumold, Acutance Scientific, Carl Zeiss, Femto Tools, Heads & All Threads, Laser Micromachining Limited, Laser Lines Ltd, Mi-Net Technology, Nanoscribe, Newport Spectra Physics Ltd, CDA GmbH, Semefab, Suzhou Delphi Laser, FEMTOprint, Phillips Screw Company, Olympus and Zeta.
The show will provide a platform for companies looking to demonstrate the very latest in micro and nano manufacturing technologies to companies and organisations working in the dynamic and fast developing world of advanced manufacturing. From precision diamond machining and micro milling to micro injection moulding, from 3D printing to metrology test equipment and micro-fluidics fabrication there will be something for everyone who has an interest in the very latest manufacturing technologies.
For example, German company Nanoscribe, a manufacturer of compact 3D printers, capable of producing three-dimensional micro-objects, often smaller than the diameter of a human hair, will be demonstrating its award winning and ground breaking Photonic Professional GT system generation.
According to Ian Holton, Director of Acutance Scientific Ltd, a distributor of Zeta 3D Optical Profilers: “We are looking forward to demonstrating the world’s most versatile 3D Optical Profiler at Micro Nano MEMS. The Zeta series is popular for being able to measure surfaces that no other 3D Optical Profiler can measure, such as internal microfluidics surfaces. Micro Nano MEMS is the only show in the UK where you will get the chance to see these types of high density cutting-edge instrumentation.”
The event will also feature an extensive seminar programme which will examine some of the key markets benefiting from these new innovative technologies as well as providing a platform to discuss the latest applications and developments in micro machining technologies.
For the second year running the show will be co-locating with Sensors & Instrumentation; The Machine Building Show and TCT. In addition these shows will also be joining forces with Interplas and the PPMA show which had over 12,000 visitors when they were last held together.
This international forum for micro manufacturing is being organised by Datateam Business Media Ltd and is being supported by respected media publications including: CMM, Components in Electronics, Eurotec, Electronics, electro optics, Laser Systems Europe, Nano Magazine and Machinery.
Pre-registration will be available for free online from early June 2014.
