LG NanoH2O Becomes Part of LG Water Solutions Business Unit

LG NanoH2O, Inc., manufacturer of the most efficient and cost-effective reverse osmosis (RO) membranes for desalination, announces that it is now part of the newly launched LG Water Solutions business unit created by its parent company, LG Chem.

LG Water Solutions Reverse Osmosis Membrane for Water Treatment

Since the acquisition of NanoH2O in April 2014, LG Chem has aggressively furthered its innovative nanocomposite membrane technology and expanded its sales operations and manufacturing capabilities, including a new state-of-the-art, fully integrated membrane factory in Cheong-ju, Korea. Beginning in September 2015, this new facility will produce a full line of seawater, brackish water and tap water RO membranes featuring the same efficiency and energy-savings customers have come to expect, with the added benefit of improved delivery and availability throughout the globe. LG Chem's expertise in roll-to-roll coating technology and excellence in chemical and polymer manufacturing are key factors in the quality, performance and reliability of its RO membranes.

In addition, LG Chem has bolstered its global commercial team to now include sales and technical support offices in China, India, Singapore, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Europe, Turkey, Korea as well as the United States and Caribbean.

"LG Water Solutions is not just a business unit, it is a promise to deliver a complete solutions package to address the needs of our customers worldwide," said Mr. Chul Nam, president of LG NanoH2O. "LG Chem is aggressively pursuing various technologies to expand our footprint in the water treatment market. In the next few years, you will see a rapid surge in product offerings, solutions-based technologies and global accessibility. LG Water Solutions is poised and ready to become a leader in the water treatment industry."
