Micralyne Appoints Dr. David Buckley as VP of Product Line Management

Micralyne Inc, a successful Canadian MEMS Manufacturer, has recently announced the appointment of Dr. David Buckley as Vice President of Product Line Management (PLM).

David joined Micralyne in June 2007 as Director of Product Line Management (PLM) responsible for Micralyne's MEMS Optical Products. As the PLM for Optical Products, David has worked with the Micralyne team to establish Micralyne as the world's leading supplier of MEMS for Wavelength Selective Switches (WSS's) and Variable Optical Attenuators (VOA's).

In this new role, David's responsibilities have been expanded to include business development, sales, marketing & communications as well as PLM.

Prior to joining Micralyne, David held a number of senior roles including VP of Engineering, VP of Operations and several PLM roles with start-up semiconductor and sub-system businesses. David has also held a variety of engineering and PLM position over 13 years with Nortel Optical Components (now Bookham).
