Low Cost Voice Coil Linear Positioning Stage from H2W

This video shows the voice coil linear positioning stage from H2W. It has dual mounting options and optional air cooling that allows the stage to achieve higher continuous forces. Standard mounting holes on the stage allow it to be mounted either horizontally or vertically.

The voice coil positioning stage is a closed loop system and can be used for high speed positioning applications. NCC type actuator is used to drive the stage. The cost can be reduced by simplified design and using a lower resolution encoder.
