Dave Arthur, CEO of SouthWest NanoTechnologies, Inc. (SWeNT) a world leader in high quality, Single-Wall and Specialty Multi-Wall (SMW) carbon nanotubes (CNT), is a keynote speaker at the Nanomanufacturing Summit 2011 on Tuesday, September 27th from 10:00-10:30 a.m.
The annual event, September 25-27th, is held in Boston at the Seaport Convention Center and will showcase emerging areas of nanomanufacturing and commercialization of nanotechnology-enabled products by industry leaders.
Arthur will discuss commercialization of carbon nanotubes, inks and coatings. SWeNT produces conductive and semiconducting CNT Inks, based on V2V technology which can be printed using commercial, high-volume printing methods and equipment. The additive printing process eliminates the need for subtractive patterning. The resulting coatings contain no dispersants or viscosity modifiers that degrade performance.
This breakthrough ink technology, combined with SWeNT's unique ability to tailor the synthesis of CNT materials for applications (using its patented CoMoCAT process) enables customers to print large-area, low-cost devices for a wide range of applications including energy-efficient lighting, affordable photovoltaics, improved energy storage and printed electronics.
The Nanomanufacturing Summit 2011 & 10th Annual NanoBusiness Conference will showcase technical contributions by experts and practitioners in the field of nanomanufacturing. A primary objective is to highlight those areas of practice that stand out from the general nanotechnology and nanoscience themes as being near-term and having the potential to facilitate the commercial development and/or marketable application of nanoscale materials, systems and devices.
